Troutman records two sixth-place World of Outlaw finishes during Illini 100
Drake Troutman was back in the Midwest over the weekend with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway for the 19th-running of the Illini 100 weekend.
Among the 40-car field, Troutman kicked off night one with a runner-up finish in his heat and a sixth-place run in the $12,000-to-win opener. On Saturday, Drake charged to the win in his heat race and redrew the pole spot for the $25,000-to-win finale. Leading a handful of laps, Troutman surrended the lead to Brandon Sheppard and wound up with another sixth-place finish.
Troutman currently sits seventh in the series point standings.
