Troutman collects pair of Top-10 outings during tripleheader weekend
Drake Troutman followed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Friday and Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday for a doubleheader weekend through the South.
Troutman started ninth in the $12,000-to-win opener and ran sixth in the 40-lap feature event. On Saturday, Drake made the $20,000 finale and wound up 17th.
His team then made the long haul overnight to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for Sunday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show. Troutman set quicktime among 31 entries and recorded an eighth-place finish in the $15,000-to-win show.
