Troutman earns pair of Top-10 finishes during DIRTcar Nationals with World of Outlaws

Drake Troutman unloaded his G.R. Smith Motorsports No. 22 machine on Monday afternoon among 56 entries to kick off six straight days of racing at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the DIRTcar Nationals.

Drake finished outside the Top-10 in both $7,000-to-win openers before finishing sixth in a split-field feature on Wednesday evening.

Heading into the World of Outlaw shows, Troutman finished ninth in the $12,000-to-win feature on night one and landed his best run on Friday evening with a fifth-place finish behind Nick Hoffman, Brandon Overton, Bobby Pierce, and Tyler Erb.

Drake closed out the week with an 11th-place outing in the $20,000 finale.

Troutman is seventh in the WoO Late Model point standings.
