Drake Troutman wins $10,000 Reutimann Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park

Coming up one spot short in last year's event, Drake Troutman returned to Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon and kicked off the Reutimann Memorial behind the wheel of the Jerry Foster No. 5 machine.

For preliminary night, Troutman joined the 40-car field and took home one of the showdown feature victories over Mitch Thomas and Trey Jacoby. The result locked him into Saturday's 50-lap main event where he redrew the fourth starting position.

Drake charged towards the front from the drop of the green flag, took the top spot for good on lap 16 and never looked back. He led the final 35 circuits and picked up the $10,000 payday over Ethan Dotson and Ray Kable. The win marks his 11th on the season and eighth in the Modified.
