Troutman fifth in Ed Gressel Memorial at 81 Speedway with World of Outlaws

Rolling into the home stretch with the tour, Drake Troutman and the GR Smith Motorsports team checked into Humboldt (Kan.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the first of two nights with the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Series.

Troutman recorded a 13th-place outing in the weekend opener and then took the overnight trip to 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.) for the Ed Gressel Memorial on Saturday. Drake picked up a heat race win and rounded out the Top-5 in the $20,000-to-win feature event.

Troutman is seventh in the Outlaw point standings.
