Pair of Top-10 finishes for Drake Troutman at Swainsboro and East Alabama
Kicking busy with some regional action, Drake Troutman and the Team 22 Inc. crew rolled into Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway on Friday evening for the first of two events with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals.
Setting quicktime among 30 Late Model entries, Troutman started the $7,553-to-win from the pole but faded to finish outside the Top-5 in sixth. The following night at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway, Drake finished outside the Top-10 in 14th.
Tacking on an extra race on Sunday afternoon, Troutman joined a 20-car field at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Sunday night. Drake started seventh in the $10,000-to-win main event and finished eighth.
