Drake Troutman starts 2026 World of Outlaws Title Chase at Volusia Speedway Park

Kicking off his run at the 2026 World of Outlaws title, Drake Troutman joined a field of 44 Super Late Models at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the three-day Sunshine Nationals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Finishing 19th in the $10,000 opener on Thursday, Troutman improved on night two and ran 11th in the $12,000 A-Main. For the $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday, Drake started 12th on the grid and charged to a Top-5 finish in fifth behind Tim McCreadie, Brandon Sheppard, Dennis Erb Jr., and Ryan Gustin.
