Troutman pockets $2,500 Modified Mafia Tour victory at Halifax County

Drake Troutman returned to the driver’s seat of the Jerry Foster Racing No. 5 Longhorn Chassis Modified on Saturday afternoon with a visit to Halifax County Motor Speedway (Littleton, N.C.) for the second annual Mark Batten Memorial.

In a field of 19 Modified Mafia Tour entries, Drake’s sixth-to-second run in the Fast 6 Dash placed him on the front row for the feature. Soaring to his fifth win of the season in the 30-lapper, Troutman topped runner-up Ray Kable by more than three-second margin to pick up the $2,500 payday. Chris Arnold, Lance Grady, and Ryan Tool completed the top-five finishers.
