Wrisco Winternationals bring Troutman to East Bay

Picking back up with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Drake Troutman visited East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the for the Wrisco Winternationals. Drawing a stout field of 70 cars, Troutman edged his way into the opening night feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. On Wednesday evening after Mother Nature axed Tuesday’s program, Drake came in sixth in his heat before retiring early in his B-Main.

For another $7,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday, Troutman took part in his heat race but was a scratch from his consolation event.

The following night, Drake posted a fifth-place finish his heat, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Taking the Top 2, Troutman fell two spots shy with a fourth-place outing.

He did not partake in Saturday’s finale.
